As a professional sound therapist I am trained to use the voice and certain musical instruments to help remind the body of its natural harmonic. When a musical instrument is tuned, it rings true to the sound it was created to carry. The same is true for the human body. When we are harmonically tuned, our body systems perform the way they were created to perform. Dysfunction resolves into harmony in the body, and we heal.
In these sessions, I create a personal healing program for your specific needs. Sometimes healing results can be experienced immediately, but often it takes a few sessions. I recommend a 4-week treatment plan to begin with. After that, additional sessions can be added as desired. Many clients participate for a few sessions and then realize they have reached new plateaus in their wellness. I always offer an extended self-paced plan so you can continue on your own.
For each session, you will receive recorded MP3 music downloads that will be beneficial to your healing process. You will also receive written handouts to support each session. You will be asked to participate using your voice as recommended. Shyness is understandable, but when using Zoom in a private meeting, no other participants will hear you, only me. All work is confidential. We will use a process of “call and response methods” where I make the sounds and you mimic what you heard. This will open sound vibrations in your body. I can assess your progress by listening carefully what you repeat for me to hear. Many clients feel energized and strong after a session. Always consult with me regarding any reactions you experience.
