In Sound Healing, we need to open our minds to the realities of both Spirit and Science working together.
Our body exists entirely as a complex series of vibrations or energy. All vibrational input is generated within and without, meaning it comes to us from cosmic sources. We live in a vibrational universe and a vibrational reality. In every way, these vibrations have a particular hum that becomes part of our body hum. They are also be part of a planetary hum. To say we are music is no exaggeration.
Everything is sound, and sound is in everything. This is a scientific statement of truth. It is also a metaphysical statement of truth. Each vibration produces density or lightness depending upon the speed of the vibrations. (Hertz or cycles per second (CPS) is how sound is measured – later with an explanation.) With a lesser vibratory speed, we experience the manifestation of solid matter. With faster vibrations, we experience lightness or airiness of thought, imagination, or dreams.
Whatever vibration becomes is largely determined by the co-contributing vibrations around it. In every way, sound is produced by the harmonies and humming of the vibrations together, along with the sounds of the different frequencies inherent in each molecule. Think of multiple tones ringing together, humming together like a choir. Creation is very much a Co-Creation. This is why we can claim we are God… because we participate in the creation of our realities, and we do it through vibration. Everything we sense or know in our bodies, in the universe, and in cosmic reality is a co-creation. It is harmony that creates reality and variety.
